Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Trainee to join our R&D Chemistry team. This role is ideal for recent Chemistry graduates eager to gain hands-on laboratory experience and contribute to innovative product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and executing laboratory experiments under supervision.
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing.
- Collect, record, and analyze experimental data accurately.
- Operate and maintain instruments like HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain lab cleanliness.
- Support senior chemists in research and formulation development.
- Document procedures, observations, and results digitally or in lab notebooks.
- Participate in team meetings and research discussions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of lab techniques such as titration, chromatography, and spectroscopy.
- Familiarity with GLP and chemical safety protocols.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a research environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or academic project experience in chemistry labs.
- Exposure to formulation or analytical method development.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel, ChemDraw, or Origin.
