As an R&D Raw Materials Specification Manager, you will lead a portfolio of raw material specifications, ensuring compliance with data quality standards and business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—Procurement, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D—to drive portfolio simplification and enhance specification accuracy. This position requires both technical expertise and strong change-management skills to support Reckitt’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation.
Chemistry Job at Reckitt – Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portion of Reckitt’s raw materials specification portfolio.
- Consolidate and streamline specifications by removing duplicates and broadening cross-site applicability.
- Define and implement data quality standards for raw material specifications.
- Establish KPIs to track progress on portfolio reduction and quality improvement.
- Ensure alignment with procurement strategies and supplier partnerships.
- Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Consumer Safety, and Manufacturing teams to balance business needs.
- Write and revise raw material specifications within the PLM framework.
Chemistry Job at Reckitt – Eligibility & Experience
- Education: Degree in Chemistry or related technical discipline.
- Experience:
- Strong knowledge of raw material functions, properties, and regulatory/safety considerations.
- Background in specification management within FMCG or pharma.
- Hands-on experience with PLM systems (e.g., TDS, Optiva).
- Proven project management and change-management skills.
- Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving abilities. IT proficiency, including MS Office. Fluency in English required.
