Job Description
The Operator at TAPI’s Gajraula facility will be responsible for executing production processes in compliance with GMP guidelines. The role involves managing the issuance, storage, and labeling of raw materials, as well as conducting dispensing, processing, and sampling activities during API manufacturing. Documentation, ERP data entry, equipment verification, and safety compliance are integral to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue raw materials from the warehouse as per production requirements and ensure proper storage and labeling.
- Assist the Team Leader in maintaining storage standards for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
- Perform dispensing activities according to procedures.
- Conduct process and sampling activities during API production following approved batch cards.
- Record reaction parameters, fill production and cleaning batch cards, and maintain GMP documents.
- Verify pH meters and weighing balances as per SOPs.
- Maintain SOP compliance, safety measures, and plant cleanliness.
- Update equipment status boards and logbooks.
- Enter batch details into the ERP system.
- Report any accidents or irregularities to the Shift Officer.
Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc./Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- 3–4 years of experience in API manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP, ERP systems, and safety protocols.
- Prior experience in regulated environments such as the USFDA or the WHO-GMP.
