Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in GC/MS analysis.

Preferred experience in fragrance/flavor, FMCG, or forensic science.

Skilled in equipment maintenance/troubleshooting or data handling, with a willingness to learn other skills.

Knowledge of perfume ingredients and their chemical behavior is preferred.

Strong planning and communication skills.

Your Focus
As a Scientist (Consumer Product Analyst), you will conduct analytical experiments on both known and unknown fragrance compositions. Partnering with technical and creative teams—including perfumers and evaluators—you will deliver valuable insights into fragrance compositions and their delivery. You will also help build foundational data to support analytical tools and databases. This role is based in Mumbai, India, and reports to the Technical Manager.
How You Will Contribute

Translate technical management requests into effective experiments.

Reconstruct unknown fragrances using analytical, olfaction, and supplementary data.

Analyze known fragrances in consumer products.

Co-develop analytical methods for known fragrances and write protocols.

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.

Organize laboratory supplies.

Support the creation of foundational data for analytical and fragrance reconstruction tools and databases.
