Educational Qualifications & Experience
M. Pharm or M.S. in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Technology/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Industrial Pharmacy with 0-2 years of relevant industrial experience
Technical Skills
Understanding of physicochemical properties, Pre-formulation, Formulation Development, Formulation Stability Studies, Solid State Characterization, and Data Interpretation.
Job Purpose
To conduct and assist in pre-formulation and phase-appropriate formulation development activities to support pre-clinical and clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Physicochemical properties assessment through pre-formulation studies for new chemical entities (NCEs).
- Formulation development and feasibility studies to support pre-clinical pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacology (PD), and toxicology (safety) studies.
- Assist in oral drug product development to support clinical studies.
- Good knowledge/understanding of solid-state characterization of drug substances.
- Biopharmaceutical risk assessment for drug substance & drug product.
