Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in Laboratory Research: Support ongoing experiments and research projects by preparing samples, conducting routine laboratory tests, and maintaining accurate records of experimental data.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data generated from experiments, ensuring accuracy and consistency in results.
- Operating Laboratory Equipment: Assist in the operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
- Research Documentation: Document research methodologies, results, and conclusions clearly and concisely for review by senior researchers, contributing to scientific reports and publications.
- Collaborating with Research Teams: Work closely with experienced scientists and researchers to support project objectives and contribute ideas during team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Preparation of Reagents & Chemicals: Prepare reagents, solutions, and other chemicals as required for various research experiments, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Literature Review: Assist in reviewing scientific literature to support ongoing research and identify new developments in biotech methodologies or technologies.
- Project Assistance: Provide general support to the research team in the execution of various biotech projects, including troubleshooting experimental setups and assisting with logistics.
- Learning and Development: Gain hands-on experience in biotechnology processes and techniques while learning from senior researchers and the team.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related science field for Research Associate.
- A PhD degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related science field for a Research Scientist.
