Job Position: Clinical Operations Assistant
Role Summary: The role of the Clinical Operations Assistant (COA) is to maintain the paper
and electronic Central Files for Clinical Operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality. The responsibilities may include tracking, scanning, filing, and entry of Case Report Forms for assigned projects, among other tasks.Key Accountabilities
Tasks Include:
- Track, scan, code, and apply a naming convention to documents
- Fill and archive paper documents in the Central Files
- Maintain quality check procedures for document accuracy
- Monitor systems and processes to ensure compliance
- Organize translations of study documents
- Process payments and invoices
- Handle the courier shipment of study documents
- Collect internal signatures for site documents
Skills
- Experience in CROs or the Life Sciences industry preferred
- Ability to work closely with project management teams
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of clinical trials methodology and terminology
Education
Educated to degree level in biological science, pharmacy, or related disciplines, or equivalent nursing qualification or experience.
