Indian Institute of Technology Indore invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a prestigious ANRF-sponsored project titled “Building 3D Chemical Space by Dearomatization of Electronically Challenging 2D (hetero)arenes Employing Visible Light and NIR.”
This role is ideal for motivated M.Sc./MS graduates in Chemical Sciences with valid NET/GATE scores. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to enroll in IIT Indore’s Ph.D. program and work in advanced synthetic organic chemistry research.- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Indian Institute of Technology Indore invites applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the research project titled “Building 3D chemical space by Dearomatization of Electronically Challenging 2D (hetero)arenes Employing Visible Light and NIR”, sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to register for the Ph.D. program at IIT Indore.
Desirable Qualification: The candidate should have a basic knowledge of all aspects of synthetic Organic chemistry and hands-on experience in performing synthetic research projects with a valid NET / GATE Score.
- Duration: Initial appointment for one year
- Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- p.m. (first two years), Rs. 42,000/- p.m. (third year)
- Age Limit: 33 years (2 years age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates)
