Job Description:
Role Responsibilities:
- Role Purpose: This role involves supporting analytical R&D projects related to alcoholic beverages, including conducting precise chemical and instrumental analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished liquids.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MSc in Analytical Science / Chemistry / Organic Chemistry
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in chemical and instrumental analysis of food, beverage, and alcoholic beverages
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct chemical analysis using validated methods
-
Support method development, verification, and validation

Maintain lab records and ensure timely documentation

Assist senior analysts with R&D projects for innovation and quality
Instrumentation Exposure:
-
GC-FID / GC-ECD / GC-MS for congeners and fusel oils
-
HPLC for organic acids, polyphenols
-
UV-Vis spectroscopy for color and phenolic profiling
-
Lab tools like pH meters, conductivity meters, and turbidity meters
Wet Chemistry Skills:

Titrations for acidity and sulfur

Alcohol content via pycnometer, hydrometer, or digital density meter
Analytical Methodology & Reporting:

Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ, calibration, ANOVA, and control charts

Accurate presentation of test findings as per regulatory and internal standards

Use of data analytics tools for reporting
