Quality Control Job at Cipla – Job Purpose:
Support pharmaceutical quality and compliance by executing sampling, testing, and documentation of raw materials, packing materials, finished products, and stability studies in alignment with cGMP standards and regulatory requirements.
Quality Control Job at Cipla – Key Responsibilities:
Sample Testing & Analysis
- Test raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), finished products (FP), and water samples.
- Conduct process and cleaning validation analyses
- Ensure compliance with specifications using calibrated instruments and valid procedures
Compliance & Documentation
- Document all testing activities using approved templates and formats
- Maintain accuracy and data integrity in online records using CipDox and LIMS
- Prepare and update standard procedures as per GMP norms
Lab Operations & Safety
- Maintain a clean lab environment and safely dispose of tested samples
- Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols
- Perform instrument validation, calibration, and maintenance
Continuous Improvement
- Suggest process optimizations and cost-saving ideas
- Participate in automation and development projects for QC improvements
Major Challenges & Solutions:
- Production delays: Addressed by regular coordination with planning teams
- Instrument breakdowns: Managed through timely service and maintenance
- Material shortages: Mitigated by proactive inventory checks and coordination
Performance Metrics:
- 3–4 FP batches released per day
- 10+ stability sample studies conducted
- OOS/OOT non-conformances to be resolved within 7 working days
- Non-conformance rate <1.5%
Key Stakeholders:
- QA, QC, and CDC teams for quality alignment
- Stores and Engineering teams for resources and equipment maintenance
Quality Control Job at Cipla – Candidate Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Pharm
- Experience: 0–3 years in QC role at a pharmaceutical company
- Skills: Attention to detail, documentation, analytical techniques, basic knowledge of GLP and GMP
