ICAR-IGFRI Young Professional Vacancy – Chemistry Job
Walk-in-interview for the position of Young Professional-II(One) will be held at Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi (U.P). The engagement of young professional-Il will be for short term duration under the ICARDA project.
Project Title: ICARDA Project entitled: “IGFRI-ICARDA collaborative project Promoting cactus (Opuntia ficus- indica) as drought-resilient feed resource under different agro-ecological production system across India”

Duration: Selected candidates Shall be engaged up to 31.03.2021
Salary: Rs 25,000/- pm
Eligibility: MSc in Chemistry with 4 years/5 years of bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in relevant subject with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET Qualification.
Desirable: Experience of relevant fieldwork/soil and plant analytical work handling and processing of data on computer/report compilation.
Note: Eligible and desirous candidate may come along with their application & Bio-data on plain paper with passport size photograph, attested copies of mark sheets and certificates and the same should be produced in original at the time of interview. The application should indicate Name, Father’s/Husband’s name, date of birth, whether SC/ST/OBC, academic qualification, research experience (if any), publications and address for correspondence etc. The

1. The above post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for a period up to 31.03.2021. However, the maximum duration as YP-II will not be extendable beyond two years or termination of the project whichever is earlier.
2. Interview of eligible candidates for the above contractual position will be held at IGFRI, Jhansi, which is 10 K.M. from Jhansi city.
3. Age limit (as on date of interview) • Maximum age limit for YP-II is 45 years (relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government norms).
