About the Role:
Unicor Pharmatech is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated freshers in the field of Microbiology to join our growing team at our Anjar, Gujarat facility. This is a great opportunity for recent postgraduates looking to kickstart their career in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct microbial analysis of raw materials, in-process & finished products.
• Perform MLT, sterility, endotoxin, and bioburden testing as per pharmacopeial standards (IP/USP/EP).
• Analyze water samples including WFI, Purified Water, and Raw Water.
• Perform air, surface, settle plate, and personnel monitoring in cleanroom areas.
• Record and trend environmental monitoring data for GMP compliance.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports following GDP.
• Prepare, review, and follow SOPs ensuring GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instruments (autoclaves, incubators, LAFs, etc.).
• Support equipment qualification and maintain validation logs.
• Assist in deviation reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining complete and compliant documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, and other departments for smooth operations.
• Train and support junior team members or interns as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 -3 years of experience in microbiology or related pharmaceutical roles
• Basic proficiency in laboratory techniques, including culturing, biochemical tests, aseptic handling, and PC
• Familiarity with GMP standards, sterility protocols, and contamination control in pharma manufacturing
• Good communication and documentation skills.
