EHS Officer Job Purpose:
To implement and monitor effective safety protocols and eliminate unsafe practices within the plant. The role requires conducting safety inspections, ensuring statutory compliance, establishing safer work methods, and maintaining a high standard of emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities:

Prevent incidents and ensure the safety of employees and stakeholders.

Assess and enhance emergency response mechanisms.

Execute planned EHS activities, promotional drives, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Conduct regular plant safety inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions.

Implement innovative and compliant safety practices to maintain a zero-incident culture.
Educational Qualifications for EHS Officer Job:

Graduate in Science (preferably Chemistry) or

Diploma/Degree with a Diploma in Advanced Industrial Safety
Work Experience:

Minimum 2 years of relevant safety experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industries.
