About the Job
As a Production Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the cultivation, harvesting, micro-filtration, and processing of microalgae biomass. You’ll lead shift-based production activities, troubleshoot operational issues, maintain batch documentation, and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
Production Officer Job Opportunity – Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage algae cultivation systems: Ensure optimal growth conditions.
- Oversee harvesting and processing: Including filtration and centrifuge operations.
- Prepare and execute production plans: Including shift schedules.
- Maintain production logs and batch records: Ensure accuracy.
- Perform equipment maintenance: Maintain production equipment.
- Implement safety protocols: Ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with R&D teams: Troubleshoot and improve processes.
- Conduct training: Ensure workforce competency.
- Track inventory: Manage raw materials and consumables.
- Comply with environmental regulations: Ensure proper waste management.
Production Officer Job Opportunity – Desired Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualification:
B.Tech/B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or Chemical Technology. -
Experience:
0–2+ years of experience in production, bioprocessing, fermentation, or similar industries. -
Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of production systems and algae-based processes.

Hands-on familiarity with bioreactors, filtration systems, and drying units.

Excellent time management, documentation, and team coordination skills.

Awareness of GMP, EHS, and ISO standards is a plus.

Willingness to work in shifts and extended hours during peak cycles.
