We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join a time-bound research project conducted by the School of Bioscience and Technology (SBST) at VIT in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Title of the Project: “Renovation of Banana Peel Wastes for the Development of Novel Active Food Packaging”

Job Description:
The project aims to develop food packaging films using banana peel waste and evaluate their properties through comprehensive
characterization. Knowledge in the preparation of polymeric films, extraction of bioactive agents, material characterization techniques, interpretation of the results, and strong communication and writing skills is desirable.Essential Qualification:
B.S. 4 years programme/B. Pharm./M.B.B.S./ Integrated B.S.-M.S./M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET-LS/GATE test.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates from scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
