Recruitment for the post of “Project Associate-I/ Junior Research Fellow” under DST, Govt. of India funded project
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is a premier autonomous institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.
The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions on a purely contract basis:
Name of the post: Project Associate-I/ Junior Research Fellow
Name of the project: DST’s Nodal Center at IISER-Tirupati for “development and production of key starting materials, intermediates, and other raw materials that are required by the Health Care Sector”

Minimum qualifications
Essential: M.Sc in Chemistry or equivalent degree
Desirable:
• Candidates having a valid CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE score card.
• Candidates having experience in Catalysis/Organic Synthesis/Asymmetric synthesis/Total synthesis.
Fellowship
I. Rs.31,000/- + 8% HRA per month based on valid CSIR/UGC-JRF/NET/GATE/Qualified National Level Test conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies.
II. Rs.25,000/- + 8% HRA
No. of post: One – 1
Tenure: The position is temporary for a period of six months and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.
Age: Preferably not more than 35 years on the closing date of the advertisement
