Job Description
- Identification, interpretation and communicating relevant legal, customer and market requirements with respect to Environmental regulations to the concerned teams
- Develop, review, and update safety data sheets (SDS) in compliance with applicable regulatory standards, such as OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of chemical substances and products to determine their potential hazards and appropriate safety precautions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, regulatory affairs, and environmental health and safety, to obtain necessary information for SDS creation and updates.
- Coordinating with agencies to create MSDS in Company name using multiple vendors
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding SDS-related questions, interpretations, and compliance issues.
- Ensure accurate and consistent labeling of chemical containers and products, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
- Participate in audits and inspections related to SDS compliance and provide required documentation and information.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees on SDS awareness, understanding, and handling of hazardous materials.
- Professional certifications in hazard communication, chemical safety, or similar fields are a plus.
- Familiarity with chemical classifications, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in using SDS authoring software and other relevant tools for document management.
- Support team on Transportation and Dangerous goods regulations during procurement and shipment
