Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the following assignment on a time-bound research project undertaken in the Amity Institute of Click Chemistry Research & Studies (AICCRS), Amity University, Noida.
Job Title: PhD JRF / Project Assistant
Number of posts 02 (Two)
Project Title: “Single-Enzyme Bioanode for Electricity Generation by Oxidizing Phenolics in Enzymatic Fuel”.
Sponsoring agency Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
Duration of the position 03 years
Fellowship / Monthly compensation
Rs. 20,000/- pm (consolidated and can be upgraded based on performance and availability of funding)
Elibgility Criteria:
M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization / experience in Physical chemistry / Electrochemistry / Nanomaterials Chemistry / Materials Sciences with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent (CGPA) from recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications
Following capabilities are highly expected from the desired
candidate.- Electrochemistry and electrochemical process including electrode fabrication/fuel cell fabrication techniques and skills.
- Functional nanomaterials synthesis and electrochemical/fuel cell applications.
- Spectroscopic and microscopic imaging-based nanomaterials characterization.
- Must take the responsibility of developing my Electrochemical Energy Research Laboratory (a new research facility) under the same project.
- Strong scientific manuscript/document writing and communication skills. (only sincere and serious candidates are encouraged to apply)
- The PI looking for a candidate who will pursue Ph.D. under this project.
Preference will also be given to candidates who are willing to pursue PhD under the same project in AICCRS, Amity University with CSIR and UGC NET Fellowship.
