Applications are invited for the temporary position of Research Associate sanctioned in the SERB sponsored project titled “Understanding the role of n→π* interactions in the conformational properties of N,N’-diacylhydrazines and azapeptide models: Towards a priori prediction of geometries of aza-oligomer peptidomimetics” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Bani Kanta Sarma, New Chemistry Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru, 560 064.

Remuneration Rs.47,000 plus 24% HRA

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry

Desirable Qualification:

Experience of computational works using Gaussian 09/16 suite. The ability to decipher noncovalent interactions using NBO, AIM, and NCI analyses is desirable. Experience of synthesis of small organic molecules.

Age: 35 years
