Job Description
IISER Tirupati invites applications from Indian nationals for one Research Associate-1 position (Advertisement No. 88/2026), purely on contract, in the project “Drug discovery from rare Actinomycetes”.
IISER Tirupati Research Associate Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Indian nationals.
- Age: not more than 35 years.
- Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in any area of Life Sciences or Chemical Sciences.
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award may also apply.
- Evidence of high-quality research during or after the Ph.D. is required.
Required Skills
Desirable: Experience in organic synthesis, LC-MS and/or growing Actinomycetes, gene manipulation for natural product discovery and antibacterial/anticancer studies.
Salary
- Rs 58,000 per month + 10% HRA with Ph.D. certificate.
- Rs 42,000 per month + 10% HRA if the degree is awaited.
