Laboratory Manager and Team Leader Polymers India
Responsibilities
• Developing and advancing team members (4-6 members)
• Polymer design and synthesis using common polymerization techniques
• Lead structure discovery and optimization in innovation projects and feasibilities
• Literature & patent evaluation, support of patent filing and maintenance
• Advancing laboratory practice, including automation and digitization
• Scouting for new technology fields and mapping out technology strategies; particular focus will be on sustainability
• Team member in innovation project teams, responsible for technical workstreams assigned
• Close interaction with Application Development, Process Technology and Production and further functions
Requirements
• Ph.D. in polymer chemistry
• > 5 years practical experience in synthetic polymer chemistry
• Experience as postdoc desirable
• International experience
• Fluent in English
• > 3 years industry experience
• Strategic thinker with an international mindset
• Great communicative skills and team player
• Preparedness to travel globally (<10%)
