CSIR-NEERI Vacancies Announced – MSc Chemistry Job Opening
Eligible and interested candidates are invited for ONLINE INTERVIEW (Through Microsoft Teams) for the following purely temporary positions for the project “Providing technical services and compliance monitoring during the full-scale soil remediation at the mercury-contaminated closed thermometer factory site of HUL, Kodaikanal” and other projects tenable at CSIR-NEERI Nagpur. Job Title: Project Associate- I (One position)
Eligibility: M. Sc. (Chemistry/Environ. Science)
Desirable: Experience in environmental chemical analysis
Age: 35 yrs
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA

Job Title: Project Associate- II (One position)
Eligibility: M. Sc. (Chemistry/ Environ. Science)*2yearsof experience in laboratory
analysis s/R&D work/relevant areas
Desirable: Experience in AAS operation and maintenance. Sample preparation, QA and
QC
Age: 35 yrs
Salary: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA
Place of posting: HUL Site Laboratory, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu. However, the project staff may be required to work at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur/Chennai for a short duration for interlaboratory comparison/data validation studies.
Mode of Selection: Selection is to be done on the basis of online Interviews through MS Team/Skype/mobile or any other tools due to COVID- l9 pandemic. The date of the interview will be notified separately
through e-mail.- The engagement is purely on a temporary basis under the externally funded sponsored project undertaken by CSIR-NEERI which may be extended or curtailed depending on the status/duration of the project and the performance of the project staff. It is placed under the project and will be co-terminus with the project duration under any circumstances. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR-NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore not confer any right/claim, implicit, on the part of the candidates for regularization/absorption against any post in CSIR-NEERI or under any scheme of CSIR.
- The shortlisted applicants shall be required to appear for the interview through the MS team. The candidates can send the softcopy of the duly filled application form and supporting documents of age, qualifications, experience etc for screening purpose on or before 12 May 2021 by email: [email protected]
The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email. No separate interview call letter will be issued. The candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed. Notification is also displayed on the institute Website: www.neeri.res.in wherefrom application form can be downloaded. No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
