Job Description:
Functions and Duties:
- Demonstrates strong scientific approach to research from the lab;
- Routinely applies private experience, academic training, and specialized insights — such as emerging sciences — to address complex technical issues within the lab;
- Drafts assessment protocols.
- Conducts stability testing with regard conventional candidates utilizing proper techniques;
- Records experimental information, ensuring transparent and precise transcription of calculations and results;
- Prepares stability reports, examines chemical equilibrium tendencies, develops predictive stability versions based on stability information.
- Completes the jobs as per the project timelines and priorities.
- Compiles job reports and reacts QA observations.
- Executes all testing and evaluation of information with excellence and basically no mistakes;
- Demonstrates a strong desire to keep on learning and develop personal capacity;
- Pursues, recommends, and implements new strategies or methods to increase lab operations;
- Positively affects project management by ensuring work is congruent with general management of lab jobs;
- Assists with additional testing programs and housekeeping responsibilities in the lab as required.
- Prepares and reviews SOPs.
- Ensures the execution of GLP, security systems in labs.
- Ensures the calibration of their equipment as per the program.
- Indents compounds, columns, Glassware, etc. and procures them by coordinating with laboratory operations and buy section in advance bearing in mind the job deadlines.
- Simplifies and follows USP assignment, policies and processes.
- Maintains good relationship with HR, Buy, bookkeeping, IT and other dept.
- Planning and preparation for ISO-9001 & ISO- 17025 certification/recertification by engaging actively and play an active part in the internal in addition to external QA audits and address the audit issues in a timely way.
- Supporting Circuit testing, Verification and other departmental teams concerning project inspection, implementation and acceptance whenever required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Education:
- M.Sc. in Analytical / Organic Chemistry.
Expertise:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant lab experience.
- Prior experience in a high volume pharmaceutical production QC lab or contract pharmaceutical analytical testing lab.
Required Experience:
- Ability to direct projects to end with a high level of scientific experience.
- Experience in moist analytical practices & spectroscopic analysis together with HPLC & GC, troubleshooting and operation, powerful communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, experience working in the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of DEA, ICH guidelines and FDA regulations, and expertise with compendial processes and compliance strongly favored.
- Proficiency with digital documentation programs strongly preferred.
- Requires personal responsibility to guarantee work is delivered on time and will be the greatest possible quality. Skills to anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
