The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 06 Months, and extendable but co-terminus with the duration of the project, on contractual basis with consolidated pay. Project Title: Catalytic upgrading of algal oil to transport fuel
Principal Investigator: Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma
Age Limit: Less than 50 Years
Salary: Rs. 40,000/-+HRA
Job Description: The project deals with development of new catalytic system for upgradation of algal biomass to transport fuel.
Qualifications:
- Eligibility : PhD or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, design and development experience after ME/M. Tech. With at least two research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Candidate who has submitted PhD thesis is also eligible.
- Desirable Qualification : PhD in Material Science/Synthetic Chemistry/Chemical engineering. A good background in material synthesis and characterization (NMR, SEM, TEM, X-ray diffraction etc.) are required. Candidate with experience in fuel chemistry, catalysis, organometallic chemistry, hydrocracking and petrochemical engineering will be preferred
