Job Title  Research Scientist

Nature of Work

  • Ensure completion of experiments and generate accurate and reproducible data from experiments. Develop relevant models and validation of the same.
  • Supervise and execute laboratory / pilot plant experiments pertaining to the relevant research area such as sample preparation using various methods, sample characterization using various analysis & evaluation of the concerned samples.
  • Organize facilities for experiments in research such as chemicals, equipment, analytical methods etc.
  • Participate in pilot plant operations / studies, utilize results as boundary conditions for model development
  • Support to plant operations
  • Collect data and conduct relevant analysis
  • Uploading reports on portal
  • Preparation of Internal Technical Report
  • Experimentation at lab scale
  • Handling of high pressure reactors, Pilot plants
  • Making of project reports
  • Preparation of Operating Manual, Standard Operating procedures for Commissioning and Operation and compliance of the procedures during the operation
  • Performing Pre-start-p safety reviews (PSSR)
  • Be aware of statutory, regulations
  • Acquire skills in design of equipment and systems
  • Dissemination of learning’s from related projects
  • Co-ordinate with multi-disciplinary functions

Qualifications

  • B.TECH with experience or Fresh PhD. in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology
  • Creative and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • 1-3 years experience in any chemical industry for B.TECH candidate or Fresh PhD Chemical Engineering/ chemical Technology.
  • Good understanding of chemical engineering subjects
  • Good understanding of process development areas.
  • PhD in Biology/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering with specialization in relevant research area

  • Minimum 2-3 years of research experience
