Job Description:
Applications are invited from motivated and qualified candidates for a Postdoctor
A motivated candidate with hands-on experience in experimental sciences, particularly in gas sensing and optoelectronic device fabrication, is sought. A candidate should have strong synthesis skills and the ability to fabricate devices that leverage the sensing and optoelectronic properties of advanced materials.
Eligibility:
A PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Physical Chemistry, Energy Sciences, or allied areas. Candidates who have submitted their dissertations are also eligible to apply. In addition to the subject qualifications, strong communication and writing skills, and a working knowledge of basic characterization tools and appropriate data analysis software are strongly desired. Additional knowledge of computational techniques is most welcome. The candidate should be able to independently drive the project and demonstrate leadership skills.
Duration:
One-year appointment (extendable upon satisfactory performance).
Remuneration:
72,000 to 84,000/- INR per month (Consolidated), as per eligibility.
