  • Education: Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of relevant practical experience in downstream process development for biopharmaceuticals, cell culture, and Virology specifically.

Other competencies required for the role

  • Proven track record in leading process development projects from concept through to commercialization.
  • Experience with late-stage process development, characterization, PPQ, and life-cycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of bioprocessing principles, cell culture techniques, and scale-up methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in high-throughput process development tools, bioreactor scale-up, process intensification strategies, and perfusion systems.
  • Demonstrated capability in DoE, QbD, and risk-based approaches to develop robust and scalable cell culture processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with automation and data analysis tools applied for cell culture bioprocessing.
