Job Purpose:

Monitor and execute packing activities while ensuring quality assurance and adherence to cGMP and safety standards. This Quality Assurance Job also provides hands-on experience in packing operations, documentation, and process optimization, making it a key role in Cipla Careers for professionals pursuing a Chemistry Job or a Pharmaceutical Job.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shift Packing Execution:

   • Manage resources and reduce micro stoppages to meet production targets.

   • Optimize consumable usage to save costs.

2. Documentation & Compliance:

   • Review packing documents and monitor standard parameters as per BPR.

   • Maintain online documentation using SAP and CipDox.

   • Ensure all operations comply with cGMP and quality assurance requirements.

3. Equipment Handling:

   • Perform qualification and calibration of packing equipment.

   • Update outputs of all activities in the system.

4. Safety Monitoring:

   • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and proper PPE usage.

   • Report near-miss cases and monitor training compliance.

5. Training & Development:

   • Provide training to staff and daily workers on packing, quality assurance, equipment handling, and documentation.

   • Promote best practices to ensure high-quality product output.

6. Process Improvement:

   • Suggest ideas to simplify processes, reduce cycle time, and improve productivity.

   • Ensure accurate documentation following ALCOA principles.

Major Challenges:

• Meeting shift targets with limited resources.

• Maintaining cGMP and quality assurance standards during system downtime.

• Ensuring timely documentation and compliance with SOPs.

Key Interactions:

• QA/QC teams for batch release and compliance.

• Engineering for preventive maintenance and equipment modifications.

• HSE for safety awareness and near-miss reporting.

• Store and contractors for packing materials and equipment repairs.
