Job Description
- Job Post: Lab Supervisor – QPC
- Job Identification: 3916
- Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
Responsibilities:
- Meeting the EHS protocols & regulatory norms in force
- To check and control the quality parameters of the Raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.
- Data entry in a computer
- Quality and Process control activities during Shift operation (1st /2nd/ 3rd).
- Testing of BD, CCS, PLC, Thermal Conductivity, Flexural strength, and other specific tests for refractory materials as applicable.
- Handling quality complaints.
Profile & Competencies:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, preferably with specialization in Inorganic or Analytical Chemistry.
- 2–5 years of experience in a refractory, ceramics, or related materials lab.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM standards, and refractory material specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and understanding of QA documentation.
