About the role:

A Graduate Intern will work closely with scientists and engineers on projects focused on raw material qualification and optimizing electroplating processes for advanced materials

and applications. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to cutting-edge research in surface finishing, materials science, and electrochemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support laboratory & line scale electroplating experiments, including bath preparation, substrate cleaning, deposition trials, and post-treatment.
  • Characterize plated samples using analytical tools (e.g., SEM, XRF, microscopy, adhesion and thickness testing).
  • Maintain detailed experimental records, write technical summaries, and contribute to qualification reports.
  • Assist in troubleshooting bath stability and deposition issues under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Maintain a clean and safe lab environment, following all safety and chemical handling protocols.
  • Interpret and analyze test reports, providing actionable insights to drive project success.

Qualifications / Professional Experience

  • M.Sc. / PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Science
  • Interpersonal qualities: Analytical thinking, Creative & Structured, Ability to work in a global team with good communication skills
  • IT skills: Software knowledge, e.g., MS Office
