Applications are invited for the one position of Research Associate-I with a fellowship of Rs. 58,000/- per month + HRA (or as per ANRF guidelines) in an ANRF-India sponsored project (ANRF/ARG/2025/003605/CS; BHU Code: P07/1352) entitled “Transient Intermediates in Metallaelectro-Catalyzed Remote C-H Functionalization: Bypassing Directing Group Constraints,” sanctioned for up to three years.

Essential Qualification:
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. The upper age limit will be as per ANRF guidelines, and relaxation in age for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates will be given as per ANRF guidelines/GoI rules on producing relevant certificates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GoI rules.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in electro-organic synthesis, photo-catalyzed or transition metal-catalyzed organic synthesis is highly desirable.
Tenure:
The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of twelve months, and may be renewed annually based on satisfactory performance for a maximum duration of three years or project tenure, whichever is earlier. The appointment will be co-terminous with the project.
