Applications are invited for a Project Associate-1 post in a Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded project entitled “Toward manipulation of the binding affinity of a Calcium (Ca2
+) ion to the Calcium-binding proteins using computational approaches with experimental validations: Ca2+ binding site prediction, free energy calculation, and Isothermal titration Calorimetry (ITC) experiment.” at the School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.The selected candidate will be appointed on a purely temporary basis, and the salary will be as per DBT norms.
Minimum Qualification
- B.Tech./B.E. in computer science/computer science and engineering/information technology
OR - M.Sc. in Chemistry
Desirable Qualification
- Proficiency in the Python programming language
- For Python proficiency, a link to any code written by the candidate should be given
- Knowledge of using Machine Learning techniques for molecular systems
