PROJECT RECRUITMENT NOTICE
Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the following project positions on a short-term basis:
- Title of the Project: Design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of novel pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives as thymidylate synthase inhibitors
- Funding Agency: ANRF, New Delhi
- Project Duration: 01-06-2024 to 31-05-2027
Position Details
- Post Name: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- No. of Posts: 1 (ONE)
- Emoluments: Rs. 42000/- + HRA
- Term of engagement: Initially, for a period of one year, further extendable based on extension of the project, satisfactory work, conduct, and availability of funds in the project head.
- Experience Required: At least one year of research experience
Essential Qualification:
- First/Second class M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry)/ M.S. Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry); Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry)
- At least one publication in a SCI journal
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in the synthesis of medicinally potent compounds.
- Experience in designing novel compounds using in silico approaches.
- Experience in biological experiments, including cell culture, enzymatic assays, western blotting, MTT assays, animal handling, and execution of animal study protocols in models.
- Experience in scientific manuscripts and patent drafting.
- Good communication skills

- No T.A/D.A. or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interaction cum interview.
