Job Description and Expectations
The Fluid Mechanics and Reactive Transport Research Group, led by Prof. Uddipta Ghosh, specializes in Physics-Based analytical and numerical modeling and experimentation on flow and transport problems. The group focuses on micro- and millifluidic applications, porous media, and energy and sustainability in Indian climates. Responsibilities include implementing
sophisticated numerical codes related to micro/millifluidic applications, emphasizing particle motion through viscous fluids. Contributions to ongoing research projects and exploration of new research directions are expected. Desirable skills include knowledge of Low-Reynolds number flows, Numerical Methods, and Analytical tools (such as asymptotic methods). Proficiency in MATLAB or Python is required.Eligibility
Applicants must have a PhD (graduated or thesis submitted) in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace Engineering and allied fields. A minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th is required.
