Qualifications:
- MSc. in Chemistry, Food Tech Degree, or Post Graduate in Food Tech/Dairy Technology.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the Food/Beverage/FMCG industry.
- Exposure to food safety systems and ISO systems.
- Preferably, knowledge of HACCP/AIB and TPM.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Onsite FS & Qlty Ops Coordinator dedicated to ensuring the best quality of products and minimizing customer complaints through stringent online quality control checks
and finished product inspection. This role involves implementing the right quality control systems/standards for the processes, physical systems, and environment, along with troubleshooting during online production to minimize wastage and ensure quality. You’ll be responsible for maintaining GMP, GHK GLP, and managing internal/external audits (HACCP, AIB, Personal Hygiene, Process audits). Conduct root cause and failure analysis for quality defects and implement corrective actions.Responsibilities:
- Conduct online quality checks in the process area to ensure all FLI standards of quality are followed during production.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure all key operating parameters of machines are in the specified range (Peelers, Fryers, Slicer for thickness average and range, Chip Conveyors, Seasoning Tumbler).
- Ensure optimum utilization of fryer oil by conducting 4-hourly checks for FFA, OV, foreign materials, taste & odor.
- Compare test results against gold standard oil usage charts and decide the mix of fresh and blended oil for frying operations.
- Conduct product weak link analysis according to the stipulated frequency.
- Lead regular quality wall meetings with S/I, Pkg leader & operatives to discuss online quality defects and decide rectification measures.
- Ensure PAE analysis is conducted hourly for all lines and that corrective actions are taken for deviations in quality parameters.
- Communicate concern areas and corrective actions promptly to the concerned shift in charge and the Production manager.
- Inform the Quality Manager if test results indicate a crisis situation.
