Job Purpose:
Analytical Research and Development enabling Chemical Development and API Supply
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine analysis of in-process and isolated samples for early intermediates and APIs using chromatographic and wet analytical techniques
- Interpretation of analytical results and planning of experiments accordingly in coordination with the chemistry team
- Method development and qualification
- Electronic lab notebook documentation and review of documents generated by peers or junior analysts
- Attend weekly project review meetings
- Prepare analytical method reports
- Lead or champion an initiative related to lab or project workflow within the department
- As a senior analyst, I contribute to more than one project at a time
- Responsible for clear individual deliverables
- Supervise the subordinates for the timely completion of assigned projects
- Responsible for updating periodic reports to both internal and external clients
- Preparing and presenting scientific presentations in internal meetings
Technical/Functional Skills:
- The candidate should have a good educational and theoretical, analytical chemistry background
- Good knowledge of analytical techniques and analytical data interpretation
- The candidate should understand method development, method qualification, and routine analysis, and possess very competent analytical skills
- Good understanding of documentation as per GxP requirements (electronic notebook)
- The candidate should have good proficiency in MS Office tools
