Minimum Prescribed Educational Qualifications:

Master’s/Integrated Master’s in Natural Sciences/Chemical Sciences (Chemistry) from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualifications duly recognized by the concerned authority as per the functional requirement.

Desirable Qualification/Experience:

M.Sc. in Organic or Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized University. Candidates with hands-on experience in catalysis and catalyst synthesis will be given preference.

Age Limit:

35 years

Job Requirement:

The student is expected to develop transition metal-based homogeneous catalysts, organometallic

catalysts, and perform catalytic reactions involving COâ‚‚ capture.

Consolidated Emoluments per Month:

(i) ₹31,000 + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET, including lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments such as DBT/DST or equivalent.
(ii) ₹25,000 + HRA for others.

Additional Job Requirement:

The candidate is expected to synthesize nanoparticles and perform their characterization. The work will involve optimizing conditions for COâ‚‚ capture, studying phase behavior, and assessing the efficiency and selectivity of COâ‚‚ uptake. Structural and physicochemical characterization using SCXRD, PXRD, thermal analysis, and spectroscopic techniques will be required.
