The Centre of Biomedical Research (CBMR), an autonomous centre of the Government of Uttar Pradesh located at the SGPGIMS Campus, Raebareli Road, Lucknow – 226014, announces an Advertisement for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time-bound research project for a temporary period, purely on a contractual basis as per the following details.

Job Description: To synthesize chemical compounds to prepare chemical libraries for biological activity, following contemporary synthetic organic chemistry.
Essential Qualification:
MSc Organic Chemistry/ Chemistry with Organic Chemistry as a major with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.Desirable Qualification: Applicant should have good academic track record. Candidates who have completed project work during MSc or a summer internship and are well-versed in working in a laboratory will be preferred.
Age Limit: 28 years
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship: ₹37,000/- per month for first year and second year and ₹42,000/- per month for third year + HRA (20%)
