Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environmental guidelines and promote strong safety behaviours.
- Manage and execute synthesis and manufacturing programs focusing on molecules, polyols, and prepolymers—ideal for candidates exploring advanced chemistry jobs.
- Apply expertise in polymer science and polyurethane chemistry to innovate from concept to commercialization.
- Identify physical and chemical mechanisms to inspire new research directions and strengthen business-aligned innovation.
- Design and execute innovative experimental programs independently, contributing to impactful research jobs.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for complex technical challenges.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present scientific findings effectively.
- Monitor literature, competitive IP, and contribute to invention disclosures and IP portfolio development.
Requirements
- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in molecular design, synthesis, or polymer chemistry.
- Sustainability-related research experience is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical R&D or manufacturing (polyurethane preferred).
- Strong initiative, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
