Position Summary:
You will support production activities at our manufacturing site in India. You will carry out laboratory and production chemistry tasks to ensure safe and consistent product quality. You will work closely with
operators, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot, investigate deviations, and improve processes. This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include the following:
- Prepare, sample, and test chemical solutions and intermediates following approved procedures.
- Operate and support production chemical processes, including reagent preparation and process monitoring.
- Record and maintain accurate batch and laboratory documentation to meet regulatory and quality expectations.
- Investigate process deviations and non-conformances, and support corrective actions with clear, factual reporting.
- Support equipment cleaning, changeovers, and basic preventive maintenance to maintain production readiness.
- Work with colleagues to identify and implement simple process improvements that increase safety, quality, or efficiency.
Basic Qualification:
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing laboratory environment.
- Practical experience with routine wet-chemistry techniques and basic analytical testing.
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Comfortable working in a regulated production environment and following safety rules.
- Willingness to work shifts and perform physical tasks, including lifting moderate loads.
Preferred Qualification:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related technical discipline.
- Experience with process chemistry, scale-up, or production support in a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and laboratory documentation systems.
- Basic knowledge of analytical instruments such as pH meters, balances, titration equipment, or spectrophotometers.
- Experience using production or quality systems and digital tools for data entry.
