- Sourcing expertise & experience in CDMO/CMC/Chemistry/Toxicology.
- Exposure to the import of specialty chemicals from China.
- Experience with cost sheets related to projects.
- Experience in import and its related formalities to ensure timely clearances and delivery of imported Goods. (Chemical/consumables)
- Procuring the chemicals, solvents, consumables, etc, and ensuring the timely delivery.
- Procurement of Analytical columns, Biologicals & Consumables.
- Weekly delivery status needs to be sent to stakeholders.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Rate contracting of all Opex-related requirements.
- To arrange for vendor approval after obtaining a duly filled-in vendor questionnaire.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality materials adhering to all purchase policies and regulatory guidelines.
Competencies
- Proven working experience in the Biopharma industry.
- Maintain a good relationship with team members.
- Comfortable and has worked in different industries and segments, especially large MNCs and proprietor-driven organizations.
- A candidate who knows the ordering of chemicals from the Import and domestic regions.
- Exposure to techniques of negotiation
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- Working experience with vendor management software like Coupa is mandatory.
- Has had lateral movements across the Industry.
