About the Project Associate Jobs:
This is a DBT-sponsored research project in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. The project focuses on translational research, involving the synthesis and characterization of material samples as per specific research protocols.
Role Description:
The Project Associate will:
- Prepare material samples according to experimental protocols.
- Conduct testing and characterization using standard laboratory methods.
- Maintain accurate experimental records and ensure lab safety compliance.
- Contribute to data collection and technical documentation for ongoing research.
Minimum Qualification –Project Associate Jobs:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmacy OR
- B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering
Desirable Experience:

Minimum 6 months of laboratory experience in a reputed academic or industrial QC lab (chemistry or biology).
Salary Range:
- ₹18,000 – ₹45,000 per month (as per project norms)
- Consolidated pay: ₹18,000/month
Duration:

The appointment is temporary and valid until the project is completed.
