The R&D Scientist II will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating new products and innovation projects under minimal guidance. The role includes laboratory experimentation, customer trials, and cross-functional collaboration with global R&D teams.
- Plan and execute product ideation, development, and validation projects.
- Generate creative solutions and patentable technologies for assigned innovation projects.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and customer trials using various machines and testing equipment.
- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Document product design, development processes, and performance specifications ensuring ISO compliance.
- Follow Stage Gate processes and project management tools during ideation, development, and validation phases.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams, including Marketing, Analytical, and Regulatory departments.
- Support development and implementation of global laboratory best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Required Qualifications for the Chemical Engineering Job
- M.Tech / Ph.D in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Technology
- Experience: Ph.D (1–3 yrs), M.Tech (3–5 yrs), MSc (6–10 yrs) in chemical, detergent, surfactant, FMCG, dairy, beverage, or food industry.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Stage Gate process, and Project Management preferred.
- Strong conceptual, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
