The project focuses on developing cost-effective and efficient synthetic processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), contributing to the broader goal of affordable healthcare innovation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification:

  • Master’s or Integrated Master’s degree in Natural or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • M.Sc. in Organic, Medicinal, Pharmaceutical, or General Chemistry with hands-on experience in organic synthesis.

Desirable Qualification:

  • Experience in multi-step organic synthesis within a research institute or pharma/agrochemical industry.
  • Additional experience in flow chemistry will be advantageous.

Age Limit:

35 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PwD/women and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out multi-step organic synthesis and analysis.
  • Supporting the process development of APIs on both small and large scales.
  • Conducting experimental design and optimization for medicinal or pharmaceutical compounds.

Fellowship Details:

  • ₹31,000 + HRA per month for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICMR/ICAR NET, GATE, or equivalent national-level examinations.
  • ₹25,000 + HRA per month for candidates without such qualifications.
