H.B. Fuller, the largest pureplay adhesives company globally, is hiring for a Scientist III job Shirwal , Maharashtra facility. This laboratory bench-level role focuses on developing adhesive technologies, leading R&D projects, and supporting product scale-up and commercial introduction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate new adhesive products using local and imported raw materials in Engineering Adhesives.
- Plan and lead large-scale R&D projects using project management and Stage-Gate processes.
- Meet research goals within time and budget constraints.
- Provide technical leadership, prepare reports, and present findings to customers and business leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global project teams enhance in Chemical engineering careers India.
- Support operations for scale-up and efficient production of developed technologies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (5S, ISO, GMP).
- Maintain safe and efficient laboratory practices.
- Travel up to 30% for product trials, scale-up, and meetings.
- Supervise technicians or scientists as required.
Minimum Requirements for Scientist Job Role:
- Bachelors in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 5 years of industry experience, OR
- Masters in Chemistry with 3 years of industry experience, OR
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Knowledge of adhesive technologies including Epoxy, Polyurethane, Acrylic, and Silicone.
- Ability to lead complex projects and generate innovative products or processes.
- Proficiency in delivering internal and customer presentations professionally.
Preferred Requirements for Scientist Job Role:
- Technical expertise in markets such as New Energy, Automotive, Electronics, BTRS, and Textile.
- Experience in silicone-based adhesives and sealants, including raw materials, applications, and rheology.
- Understanding of manufacturing equipment for adhesives and sealants.
- Proven track record in product development and scale-up.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Physical Environment:
Laboratory and Application Center on-site at Shirwal, Maharashtra.
