Job Overview

Join our team as an FSQR Officer and lead the charge in ensuring food safety and quality in Kistnapatam. You will monitor sampling programs, traceability, allergen and pest control measures, and quality system manuals. Ensure that all raw materials, packaging, and ingredients meet specifications. You will also provide training on hazard analysis critical control points, food safety, quality, and hygiene practices while supporting the maintenance of quality management systems. You have the authority to stop processes if food safety is compromised.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Ability to adapt and learn in a changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Forklift operation training (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a laboratory or food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test cooking and kitchen activities, approve or reject products, and record findings in lab systems.
  • Assist with internal and third-party audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
  • Coordinate pre-operational inspections, lead sanitation meetings, and maintain related documentation.
  • Manage incoming raw materials, packaging, and ingredients while reviewing supplier documentation.
  • Conduct sampling of finished products and raw materials, submit samples to the microbiology lab, and address nonconforming results.
  • Handle complex administrative, technical, or customer support tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
