Job Description
As a Global Fabric Cleaning Powders R&D Associate, you will work closely with the Sr. Product Development Manager. Your role involves formulation design, prototype validation, cost optimization, and ensuring product superiority in performance and sustainability. You will play a crucial role in scaling up innovative prototypes while collaborating with global R&D and business units.
Key Responsibilities for R&D Job at Unilever
- Identify and validate prototypes for performance, cost efficiency, and GHG footprint.
- Ensure chemical and physical stability of prototypes during accelerated storage.
- Collaborate with R&D teams, claims, process, safety, and business units.
- Drive digital-based development using tools like modeling and data analysis.
- Support innovation and eco-design initiatives without compromising product quality.
Qualifications for R&D Job at Unilever
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Master’s in Chemistry from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in formulation or product development (preferred).
- Strong curiosity and adaptability to new science and technology areas.
- Knowledge of surfactant science is an advantage.
- Proficiency in data interpretation, visualization (JMP/BI/Excel), and decision-making.
