Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
- Strong experience in specialty chemicals and/or polymer industries.
- Knowledge of PVC/CPVC processing, inks, coatings, adhesives, or related applications.
Scientist Job Description:
As an R&D Engineer/Scientist II at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the Specialty Additives Technical Sales and Support function across India. This role involves working closely with the commercial team to identify customer needs, design experimental programs, and deliver innovative solutions that demonstrate the value of Honeywell’s products.
Scientist Job Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage specialty additives, technical sales, and support for India.
- Understand the needs of the additives customer base and design experimentation to meet requirements.
- Drive the execution of experimental programs both internally and at external labs.
- Collaborate with the commercial team on customer visits to identify unmet needs.
- Work with the commercial team to qualify sales leads and improve conversion rates.
