Job Description
Global Calcium is hiring talented professionals for various Quality Control (QC) and Microbiology roles at its Unit–III site in Hosur. The positions offer opportunities to work on wet analysis, instrumentation (HPLC/GC/ICP-MS/AAS), stability studies, and microbiological testing while ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP and lab safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wet chemical analysis of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
- Conduct instrumental analysis using HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, and AAS systems.
- Review analytical reports, stability data, and ensure data integrity.
- Oversee microbiological testing of water, environmental monitoring, and product samples.
- Ensure adherence to GMP/GLP practices and maintain accurate lab documentation.
- Follow lab safety procedures and participate in audits and inspections.
- Coordinate with production, QA, and other teams for smooth operations.
Qualifications
- M.Sc in Chemistry or Microbiology.
- 0–8 years of experience depending on the role:
- Chemist – Wet Analysis (0–3 yrs)
- Reviewer / Shift In-Charge cum Reviewer – FP/SF/RM/AMV/Water/Stability (6–8 yrs)
- Instrumentation – HPLC/GC/ICP-MS/AAS (3–6 yrs)
- Microbiology (3–5 yrs)
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP and laboratory safety practices.
- Willingness to work in shifts (role-specific).
