Job Description
As a Scientist III, ARD at USP Hyderabad, you will support the development of reference materials and analytical method development for in-process samples in the synthetic lab. The role involves performing routine and non-routine analytical tests, maintaining GLP and safety standards, developing and validating methods, and contributing to stability studies and research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support reaction monitoring, scale-up, and final analysis of samples as per monograph or in-house procedures, including method development.
- Prepare development reports and execute projects as per approved protocols.
- Perform IQ/OQ/PQ of new instruments and maintain GLP and safety procedures in the lab.
- Prepare SOPs, protocols, and reports; ensure calibration of equipment as per schedule.
- Participate in ISO-9001 certification/recertification activities and QA audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and uphold diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles.
Qualifications
- MSc. in Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/M. Pharm with 6–8 years’ experience in Analytical R&D or Ph.D. with 1–3 years’ experience.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Visible, and wet chemistry techniques.
- Exposure to GMP/GLP environments and documentation procedures.
- Strong understanding of synthetic organic molecule development and analytical chemistry.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Desired: Knowledge of LCMS, GCMS, IC, ICP-MS, ELN, Empower, and NuGenesis.
